✨ Our Craft – How We Make Our Candles
1. Premium Ingredients
We start with a clean-burning soy wax blend, chosen for its smooth finish and eco-friendly properties. Our wicks are lead-free cotton and our fragrance oils are phthalate-free, ensuring a safe burn and beautiful scent throw.
2. Hand-Poured in Small Batches
Each candle is carefully hand-poured in small batches to ensure consistency and attention to detail. This means no two candles are 100% identical — and that’s part of their charm.
3. Cured for Perfection
After pouring, we allow our candles to cure for several days, letting the wax and fragrance bind together for a stronger, longer-lasting scent.
4. Tested for Quality
Before a candle leaves our studio, we test it for wick performance, burn time, and scent throw. We won’t ship anything we wouldn’t burn in our own homes.
🧾 Candle Care – Tips for the Best Burn
Trim Your Wick
Keep your wick trimmed to ¼ inch before each burn. This prevents smoking, mushrooming, and uneven burning.
First Burn = Full Melt Pool
Allow your candle to burn long enough for the melted wax to reach the edges of the jar (usually 2–3 hours). This prevents “tunneling” and ensures an even burn every time.
Safe Placement
Burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable.
Never Leave Unattended
Always keep your candle within sight while burning and extinguish it before leaving the room or going to sleep.
Don’t Burn to the Bottom
Stop burning when about ½ inch of wax remains. Burning too low can overheat the jar.
💡 Pro Tip
For the best experience, burn candles for no more than 4 hours at a time, and allow the wax to cool before relighting.
